Rules of El Caminito del Rey

Afternoon Entry
Late entry hours, specially on summer, are the best ones. Less people at the Caminito, and also the treck is in the shade of the mountain.

Bring something to drink
The guided tour takes about 4 h since you depart from the South Side (La Garganta) until you come back. It is recommended to bring and to drink enough water (1,5l in Summer) and to bring some type of snack.

General regulations of El Caminito del Rey
- Entry to the online tour must be purchased through any official El Caminito del Rey ticket platform , as we provide La Garganta as a partner with our guided tours. On our visits you will only have to show the order confirmation to our guide and he will take care of the entrance to it.
- To take the usual route it is mandatory to bring the ticket in physical format, that is, on paper, as well as the digital one if you have made an online reservation. Access to the beginning will always be through the North Access to proceed with the descent.
- Any minor over 8 years of age will need to be accompanied by an adult and will need to prove their family relationship with an ID, passport or family book. - Safety equipment must be worn correctly at all times, from the beginning of the route to the end of the route.
