Discover Torcal de Antequera, one of Europe’s most impressive karst landscapes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The experience begins at the Torcal Alto Visitor Centre, where we will set off on a circular route lasting approximately three hours, suitable for all ages. Accompanied by an expert geology guide, you will learn to interpret the landscape in a simple and enjoyable way, with no prior knowledge required.
During the tour, we will visit some of the most emblematic spots in the area, such as El Tornillo, the symbol of the park, El Sombrero (or UFO), El Laberinto, El Anfiteatro, El Refugio de Juan Ramón and the surprising Montpellier Maple, the only known specimen in Andalusia. Amidst impossible formations and spectacular views, you will discover how the sea, wind and rain have shaped this almost lunar landscape over millions of years.
In addition to its spectacular geology, you will learn about the fauna, flora and historical curiosities that make El Torcal a unique natural space within the Andalusian Subbetic System.
