The activity takes place on the Vía Ferrata del Chorro with professional guides, approved equipment and all safety measures in place, in a unique natural setting in Andalusia.
Characteristics of the Via Ferrata of El Chorro de Málaga
The El Chorro via ferrata route extends 650 meters from its starting point to its end. Although it may sound brief, the journey intensifies with a vertical ascent of 250 meters. Its route includes an exciting 35-meter zip line, as well as a Tibetan-style suspension bridge and another Nepalese-style bridge.
Via ferratas classify their level of challenge on a scale that goes from K1, being the most accessible, to K6, the most demanding. For the El Chorro via ferrata, a difficulty of K3 is assigned taking into account the total length to be covered. However, if we evaluate its difficulty based solely on the technical obstacles, it would be a K2.
