Rules of El Caminito del Rey<\/h1>\n

If you are about to visit the Caminito del Rey, it is very important for you to know the rules which are mandatory, and which you must take into account to enjoy the visit without sentbacks.<\/p>\n

Umbrellas, Hicking Sticks or Selfie Sticks<\/em><\/h3>\n

In the winter season, remember that you cannot enter with an umbrella. Also remind you that you will not be able to use any type of extendable stick, that is; walking sticks, selfie sticks, etc. Those items prohibited.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The guided tour takes about 4 h since you depart from the South Side (La Garganta) until you come back. It is recommended to bring and to drink enough water (1,5l in Summer) and to bring some type of snack.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

General regulations of El Caminito del Rey<\/h2>\n

  1. Entry to the online tour must be purchased through any official El Caminito del Rey ticket platform , as we provide La Garganta as a partner with our guided tours. On our visits you will only have to show the order confirmation to our guide and he will take care of the entrance to it.<\/li>\n
  2. To take the usual route it is mandatory to bring the ticket in physical format, that is, on paper, as well as the digital one if you have made an online reservation. Access to the beginning will always be through the North Access to proceed with the descent.<\/li>\n
  3. Any minor over 8 years of age will need to be accompanied by an adult and will need to prove their family relationship with an ID, passport or family book. Children under 8 years of age will not be able to access the route for safety reasons, while those of legal age must present their ID at the beginning of the route.<\/li>\n
  4. Any visitor with a ticket will have civil liability insurance covered by the El Caminito del Rey organization itself. This will cover any circumstance or risk as long as these rules are met by the visitor.<\/li>\n
  5. Visitors must be at the entrance at least half an hour before the route.<\/li>\n
  6. Access to the route will be through the organization’s own and duly signposted indications, excluding any other access point to the route and exempting the organization from any responsibility for this access or incident.<\/li>\n
  7. El Caminito will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, although there are other days that it may close due to inclement weather, including holidays such as December 24 and 25, as well as the 31st of the same month and January 1.<\/li>\n
  8. Safety equipment must be worn correctly at all times, from the beginning of the route to the end of the route.<\/li>\n
